“I lived my life purely driven on fear. The fear of not being enough, not having enough money, not having enough time, not knowing enough...basically living in a dark space of not-enoughism. On the outside, it looked like I had it all. Every career I made my focus, I excelled in. My relationships looked awesome. With lovers from all corners of the world, spanning in different fields of work but always a man in the upper echelon of their industry and passion.
Despite all of this, I still felt horribly empty, unsatisfied and terribly misunderstood by 100% of the population. And what made this even worse was to have intuition so spot on but completely ignoring it to keep the peace with everyone - I wanted to make everyone happy - and keeping my own voice small so I kept up the appearance that EVERYTHING was ok. Even though I felt most of the time I would break in pieces if I didn't keep it together. And admittedly there were times when I questioned the worth of my existence. I believe that my meeting Asyah was Divine Providence. We live approximately 1000 miles from each other. But a Zoom meeting brought us together. Asyah is such a beautiful soul and human being.
